UP movie review

By tying thousands of balloon to his home, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn't alone on his journey, since Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.

I enjoyed this movie, from the second row in the theater. Cartoon movies are really heart breaking.

Before The Rains - movie review

Before The Rains, directed by Santosh Sivan, is a tragic tale of love, death and guilt set against a backdrop of the emerging nationalist movement in the 30s.

Sivan's camera captures Kerala's images of lush, rolling hills, covered in sparkling green foliage and crystalline waters.

The film is mostly in English, with even most of the Malayali actors speaking in English, and only sparse pockets of Malayalam.

Major roles are played by Linus Roache, Nandita Das, Rahul Bose, Tilakan, Lal..

The Time Machine (2002) - Movie review

This is for those who have not yet seen this movie. Time machine is a must watch movie.

What if you can go back to future or past of your wish?

The Time Machine is a novella by H. G. Wells, first published in 1895 and later directly adapted into at least two feature films. This is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposefully and selectively

Scientist and inventor, Alexander Hartdegen, is determined to prove that time travel is possible. His determination is turned to desperation by a personal tragedy that drives him to want to change the past. Testing his theories with a time machine of his own invention, Hartdegen is hurtled 800,000 years into the future.

Peaceful Warrior

Thanks a lot to Rashmin for posting about this movie. I watched this yesterday.

This movie is based on a true story of a gymnast (Dan Millman). The best part in the movie is the conversations between the old man and the gymnast. It is kind of miraculous (mysterious ?) story. Amazing one and a must see.

You will be amazed what you can do :) ... watch the trailer..

Home Alone 2

Culkin's family decides to take another vacation together and, thanks to another untimely power outage, the family oversleeps again and, in their rush to make their plane, they leave Culkin behind. Again. Only this time, Culkin makes it to the airport with his family, he just can't quite make it onto the right plane. With the rest of his family traveling to Miami, the producers have Culkin mistakenly board a plane to New York City, and thus the 'Lost in New York' portion of the title comes into play.

My favorite part was when he becomes friend with the pigeon lady, and gives a lots of advice to the 'heart broken' pigeon lady.

A must watch movie.

Dasavatharam

Y'day I saw the movie Dashavatharam. It was a good one. I don’t know how they have done the 'tsunami' in the movie. It was very surprising.

FLICKA

Flicka is a 2006 film adapted from the 1941 children's novel My Friend Flicka by Mary O'Hara. The film is directed by Michael Mayer. Flicka is Swedish word for beautiful girl.

This is a beautiful movies, which shows how much the parents love their children. Initially the daughter in the movie hates her dad so much.. It is that she took some time to realize her dad's love.
PS: In our life also it is like that, generally people suspect people around them, I think all the people around us are good and know that nobody hates you.
